LAND OF ULTIMATE CONTRASTS

The crazy geography of Chile will delight lovers of diversity, wild nature, and authenticity. Imagine a country surrounded to the west by the Pacific Ocean, to the east by the Andes Mountains, to the north by the Atacama Desert, and to the south by the glaciers of Patagonia, Tierra del Fuego, and Antartica.
Chile is nothing less than that, a varied range of landscapes, each more enchanting than the other, a true invitation to travel.
Chile is located in the southwestern tip of South America and is bordered to the north by Peru, to the northeast by Bolivia, and to the east by Argentina.
It is a long and narrow strip of land, averaging 180 km wide and approximately 4,300 km long from north to south (for comparison, it is the distance between northern Finland and the southernmost tip of Greece!).
Its area, which includes the mainland, Easter Island, and the Juan Fernández Archipelago (Robinson Crusoe Island), is 756,626 km², one-third larger than France.
Along this long strip of land, there are deserts and canyons, snow-capped volcanic peaks, lakes, glaciers, fjords, steppes, with the majestic backdrop of the Andes Mountains, which reach almost 7,000 meters above sea level.
Chile’s geography offers an incredible diversity of landscapes and environments.
From the arid Atacama Desert in the north, known as one of the driest places on Earth, to the lush forests and pristine lakes in the Lake District, to the breathtaking fjords and glaciers in the Chilean Patagonia, every corner of Chile is a treasure waiting to be discovered.
Whether you are a nature enthusiast, an adventure seeker, a wine lover, or a culture enthusiast, Chile has something for everyone.
Its unique geography and rich cultural heritage make it a truly captivating destination. Come and explore the wonders of Chile, and let its landscapes and authenticity leave you in awe.
